The gestures

Tap a number to pencil it in. Hold a number until it swells and snaps to enter it in ink. Swipe up on a number to focus it across the board. Tap your selected cell again to inspect its row, then column, then box. There's a full tutorial in the app: home → tutorial.

Common questions

Can I undo an entered number? No — ink is permanent, like a pen. Undo walks back pencil marks. Three wrong entries and the puzzle slips away.

What do hints cost? 45 seconds on the clock, three per puzzle. Time is the only score.
